In The Mix…Unburdened Mixed Drink Recipes

A few of our classics, that are easy to make and delicious to enjoy are below!



The Unburdened Margarita”

  1. Place a dash of honey in a shaker
  2. add 3 oz of Unburdened Corn whiskey infused with Blueberry (TIP: also works well with Unburdened Strawberry and Blackberry Flavored Whiskey)
  3. Add 1/2 oz of orange liquer
  4. Add 2 oz of lime juice
  5. Add ice, shake until shaker looks cold (about 20-30 seconds)
  6. Use lime juice to wet rim of glass, Mix 1 teaspoon of sugar and salt together, and rub onto the rim
  7. Add margarita to glass
  8. Enjoy responsibly!


The Unburdened Manhattan

  1. Add 2 oz of Unburdened Bourbon to glass
  2. Add 2 dashes of bitters
  3. Add 3/4 oz Vermouth
  4. Stir and serve over ice.
  5. Enjoy Responsibly!

The Unburdened Old Fashioned

  1. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar, with 2 teaspoons of water and 3 dashes of bitters.
  2. Stir until sugar dissolves.
  3. Add 2 oz of Unburdened Bourbon and two cubes of ice
  4. Stir again
  5. Garnish with 1 maraschino cherry and 1 orange wedge
  6. Enjoy Responsibly!

“The Unburdened ‘Nog”

  1. Separate the yolks from the whites of 6-8 eggs (depending on egg size).
  2. Refrigerate the whites until later.
  3. Whisk 1 cup sugar with the yolks until the color goes from orange to pale yellow.
  4. Add 2 cups of milk, 1 cup heavy cream and 1 cup Unburdened Bourbon – whisk to combine.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  6. After an hour, mix the egg whites until stiff peaks form and then fold the whites into the refrigerated mix.
  7. Ladle into cups and top with a dash of nutmeg.
  8. Store leftover ‘nog in a sealed container in the fridge for no more than 1-2 weeks. ‘Nog will thicken the longer it sits.
